Tony Peek So who am I - well for those who know me that’s not a problem, but for those who don’t, I’m a bike enthusiast who hit the big five-o in 2010 and wanted to do something different to mark the occasion - something really different!

Enduro Africa ads had been staring back at me from the cover of Bike magazine for a couple of years but I just couldn’t see myself rising to such a challenge. My wife Sophie said "why not just do it - what’s stopping you?"... so I did - with your help!

I’ve had the pleasure of riding in France, Germany, Spain and of course the UK, I ride primarily for pleasure and always get a buzz from it... but to ride off road in South Africa for eight days, knowing you have raised money for charity as part of the deal is very exciting and I feel privileged to have had such an opportunity.

I currently ride a 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050 and I’m lucky enough to have the love and support of a wife who enjoys the bike as much as I do.

So what next? Well, the Enduro Africa get togethers in Wales are always a great chance to meet up with riders from the 2010 ride. There's also talk of a trip to Morocco and who knows, maybe a return trip to South Africa?

Triumph Tiger 1050

I’ve met some incredible people, been part of an awesome team and would do it again a thousand times over.
